"No, you didn't," Eddie replies firmly, almost relieved to have something he feels fully confident saying. Eddie knows a thing or two about shitty fathers, but from that their experiences diverged dramatically. Never in his life would he have thought he could feel so thankful that his dad only taught him to steal cars and made him accessories to petty crimes.
